The History of Granny Fay’s
Jeanne grew up in the kitchen alongside her two grandmothers, Granny Doris and Grandma Fayla. From a young age, she developed a deep love for cooking, baking, and good food—learning early on that food is what brings people together around the table.
She honed her skills from both sides of the family: Granny Doris’s incredible, technical desserts and Grandma Fayla’s intuitive “cooking eye” for measuring and creating dishes that burst with flavor. Over time, Jeanne blended their approaches with her own, developing a style rooted in tradition, instinct, and care.
Cooking has always been a passion—whether for family and friends, special events through Stillmeadow Catering, or, of course, Granny Fay’s Pies.
